Kathy O’Hara, Owner,
NASM Certified Personal Trainer,
Senior Fitness Specialist,
Corrective Exercise Specialist
After a long and rewarding career in education both as a teacher and an administrator, I retired in 2019. When my personal trainer, Jesse Kepka, suggested I become a Certified Personal Trainer, I admit that I had not thought about doing something like that, especially in retirement! However, I have experienced firsthand the benefits of personal training. I have gained strength and balance and maintained flexibility, which allows me to move and function better in everyday activities … like playing with my grandkids! Also, I have taken over personal care of my husband who is disabled. Personal training has helped strengthen my core so that I can avoid back and other injuries while I am assisting him. This is what has motivated me in my second career – the desire to help others who want to stay as vibrant and active as possible as they age gracefully. It’s Never Too Late!
